This company is one of Texas’ most respected Commercial Construction companies. This company has been in business for over 40 years and specializes in Job Order Contracting (JOC) across K-12 and Municipal. While headquartered in Houston, this company also has offices in Central Texas (Austin & San Antonio). While they have previously performed some work in Dallas, they haven’t been ready to formally establish an office but that time is now and they are looking for a PM / SPM with knowledge of JOC to spearhead this launch!
Your new role
The Project Manager is responsible for the overall direction, completion, and financial outcome of all JOC construction projects. In this position, you will direct and supervise activities related to contract administration, change orders, submittals, procurement, project financial projections, and schedule requirements to ensure projects are completed with quality, profitable, adhering to their Safety / Zero Harm culture. As you will be working towards a division manager role, you will also be expected to take the lead on all related aspects including hiring, culture creation and the overall management of the business.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful Project Manager will be degree educated with a Construction related degree and have prior experience working as a Project Manager within the Commercial Sector. Experience within the JOC sector is a must. Finally, the ideal candidate will have an ambitious nature, as the opportunity to take this division further and oversee it is very much a reality!
